âThe birth experience I had was very quick and unplanned, my daughter was 2 months early and delivered by emergency c-section with little time to get my husband to the hospital let alone anyone else. With that being said, even though Jennifer was not there physically with us for the birth she was very much involved. Speaking with my husband via phone/text to make sure we felt safe and comfortable with our situation and reminding him how to be my rock during such a scary time. She always made me feel better when I had doubts of my birth experience and feeling like it should have gone differently. She would tell me I did it and brought my beautiful miracle baby into this world regardless of how it unfolded, never forgetting to remind me of my powers and strengths. She was very communicative with us in the following days and was truly a support for me as a new mother when everyone wanted to see the new baby and ask questions, Jen made sure I felt seen, heard and taken care of in the mess of this new reality I was in.
